As an active soloist and orchestral musician, Sarah Koenig-Plonskier has appeared with the Boston Pops Orchestra, and such esteemed ensembles as the Poisson Rouge Ensemble, New York Classical Players, and most recently, The Moirae Ensemble.

Ms. Koenig-Plonskier began her solo career in 2005 with the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra, and has since enjoyed performances with the Boston Pops Orchestra, the Brockton Symphony and Quincy Symphony Orchestra, and frequent appearances with the Lowell and Waltham Philharmonic Orchestras.


























Ms. Koenig-Plonskier also regularly performs and records with rock groups such as Jesse Malin, Pete Pigeon, Quentin Angus, Yanni Burton, Matt Siffert and her own bands, American Dream and Uzi & Ari, with whom she is releasing a much anticipated fifth album in the Fall of 2014.

Ms. Koenig-Plonskier received her Bachelor and Masters of Music from The Juilliard School as a student of Joel Smirnoff and Glenn Dicterow.






















As an orchestral musician, Ms. Koenig-Plonskier was Concertmaster of the Juilliard Orchestra, as well as a member of Axiom Ensemble. Ms. Koenig-Plonskier has been invited to perform with her ensembles at Symphony Hall and Jordan Hall in Boston, and Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and Le Poisson Rouge in New York.

Ms. Koenig-Plonskier is the Social Media Director and violinist for The Moirae Ensemble, with whom she joined in 2013. She has since performed solo and collaborative recitals with the group in New York and Boston, featuring contemporary female composers. Ms. Koenig-Plonskier looks forward to returning with The Moirae Ensemble the 2014-15 season to The Gershwin Hotel,
New York’s Spectrum, and in joining Miller Theatre’s award winning concert series in the 2014-15 season.
